Deborah Robson has exhibited linoleum and silkscreen prints; paintings; and textile works in batik, weaving, embroidery, knitting, and other techniques. Her current involvement with art includes figure drawing, sketching from life, and plein air painting in oils.
During an MFA/writing residencywhen youd expect her to have been using her time exclusively for writingshe and tapestry artist Micala Sidore (another MFA writer) presented a two-person textile show. She has hung one-person shows at Leverett Craftsmen and Artists in Massachusetts (textiles and prints) and at the Danville Museum of Fine Art and History in Virginia (textiles).
The images on this site have been excerpted from a cut-film silkscreen Deborah produced in the 1970s.
We plan to include examples of Deborahs work with textiles and oil paints in the next update.
